Context:
Ampimpa Observatory, led by Alberto Mansilla in Argentina, organizes astronomical and nature expeditions for groups of curious travelers. In 2024, they tackled Iceland for the first time — with Descubre Islandia as the destination — and needed a local operator capable of supporting the scientific quality of their programs while managing the logistical complexity of moving 30 people across the entire island for 11 days.
Brief received:
Two consecutive groups of 27 passengers + 3 staff each. Full island tour. Premium inclusions: Katla ice cave, North Sailing in Husavik, Myvatn Baths, Raufarhóll Cave, daily 3-course lunches and dinners, private meeting rooms for academic group gatherings. Full communication in Spanish.
Solution designed:
11-day program with dedicated private transportation for the entire period, bilingual team on-site (also permanent logistics coordination), selection of premium accommodations with priority for post-day comfort, and a direct supplier network established with Lava Show, Blue Iceland, Perlan Museum, Glaumbær Farm, North Sailing and others to guarantee availability and preferential treatment. The quotation was built without intermediaries, with direct relationship between Ampimpa and our team.
